TRAINING
PROGRAMS:
VK9TA offers several program options
for our clients and their dogs. We will always begin with
a free over-the-phone evaluation in order
to gather some basic information from you in regards to
your particular, unique situation. We understand every
dog and every owner is different, so we listen to your
issues, your goals and expectations and then offer you
our professional recommendation based upon the information

- K9 Consultation
Learn the #1 rule of dog training and
the answer to every dog training question. Create balance
in your life and your dog. Let us guide you through the
process and show you how to live as a pack leader. This
2+ hour session includes a complimentary slip lead and
a lifetime of phone/email follow up for you and your dog.
- Board & Obey:
"The Creation of a Foundation"
We can help you build the foundation
and create a balanced, structured life for you and your
dog. Your dog's 2-week stay will include not only obedience
training, but plenty of exercise, discipline and affection,
as your dog learns its place in the pack and you learn
to be a true pack leader. Program includes: treadmill
training, transitional take home lessons, follow-up lessons,
complimentary slip lead and lifetime of phone/email follow-up.
- Rehabilitation*
"There is Still Hope"
As
long as you are willing to work, we will be willing to
work with you. During your dog's stay, we will wipe the
slate clean and start fresh. You and your dog will discover
your purpose and place in the pack...bringing both of
your lives into balance. We work with any dog and any
issue.
*In extreme cases, cost may be greater
due to extended boarding times and training. VK9TA will
provide final cost before beginning any rehabilitation
program. Program includes: treadmill training, transitional
take home lessons, follow-up lessons, complimentary slip
lead and lifetime of phone/email follow-up.
- Private Lessons
VK9TA offers different customized private session options to suit you and your dog's needs, from one-on-one 1 hour private lesson format to our 5 private lesson package. Private lessons are conducted at your location and will focus on specific issues you wish to work on. Please contact us if interested.

Classes
We offer several group class formats
to fit your needs, including: CGC/Therapy Dog Prep, Brush-Up
Class, Puppy Basics/Socialization Class and more!
BOARDING
DOG WALKING
VK9TA is now proud to offer Dog Walking to help keep you and your dog(s) balanced!
We will implement the same rules and boundaries on the walk that we have
for our own dogs! That means no pulling on the leash, no barking,
jumping, etc. So, even if your rules are becoming a bit relaxed, we
will "pick up the slack" for you! But remember, changes only last when
they are consistently reinforced!
For higher energy dogs, running, roller blading and biking are available
as well (options will be dependent upon dog's walking ability which will
be determined by VK9TA staff). Prices may vary based upon selected
service. Play/fetch time can be used as part of your allotted time if
you wish to do so and have a secure, enclosed area. Details will be
discussed with VK9TA staff prior to starting your dog walking program.
We will walk your dog for the specified time, make sure they potty and
offer them water before we call it day. Walking is available in 30
minute and 1 hour increments.
General Dog Walking Pricing:
- Package 1: $200 for 10 30-minute walks or 5 one hour walks.*
- Package 2: $300 for 16 30-minute walks or 8 one hour walks.*
- Package 3: $400 for 24 30-minute walks or 12 one hour walks.**
- Package 4: $500 for 32 30-minute walks or 16 one hour walks.**
- Package 5: $600 for 40 30-minute walks or 20 one hour walks.**
* All walks have to be used within 30 days of purchase.
** All walks have to be used within 90 days of purchase.
Additional dogs are
half-price (per dog) based on the package selected.
